Decked out in my best pair of whites, I made my way shore. O.K., I know what you are thinking. She was not that kind of girl...really! There would be plenty of those in Alongapo City, which set just outside the front gate of Subic. Anyway, we walked all over town and had a fine time. We even took in a movie (it had sub- titles). It was sure good to be on land and what a fine looking young lady she was. If only we could stay a another day. The time had come to move on.
