Like most foreign ports, Yokosuka had its seedy side. As we walked the sidewalks through the red light district, we gazed upon signs that welcomed us back from the war. Here we were Heroes. Winners of a great war and it felt good. And so, we did what most sailors do. I will leave some of THAT to your imagination. But the booze did flow and the women were fine. That was all I could remember, as I stumbled back to the ship on Sunday morning.
