Cloud Burst
Near Guam.

We were somewhere near Guam when the weather changed abruptly. Clouds soared across the sky and it started to rain. I heard a sharp crack as the lightning struck off the port side of the ship. For a moment I thought we were under attack but it was just a rare microburst erupting from a passing cloud. Winds whipped across the sea and waves smashed against the side of the ship. I clutched at the railing in an attempt to keep from being washed overboard. It looked like a rough ride ahead.
