And so, I waved her good bye, as the lines were cast from the dock and the ship drifted away into the sea. Her eyes welled with tears that streamed down her cheeks onto her mustard yellow dress. I guess she really had some feelings for me. I wondered if I would ever have a chance to return to Cebu and see her again. How would I ever find her? All I had was her first name. Cebu was not a regular port of call and this had been a special stop. I guess it was a special day. I threw her a kiss, as we sailed away.
